Composition:

Each 1 ml contains:

Levofloxacin HCL: 100 mg

Acetylcysteine: 50 mg

Bromhexine: 2 mg

Solvents ad: mi

Indications

It is indicated for use in turkeys, and poultry, specifically broller chickens, broiler breeders and pullets being reared as layers for use in the treatment of diseases of the spiratory and alimentary tracts of bacterial or mycoplasma origin (e.g. pasteurellosis. mycoplasmosis, coll-bacillosis, coli-septicaemia and salmonellosis), where clinical experience, supported where possible by sensitivity testing of causal organism, indicates Levofloxacin as the drug of choice.

Pharmaceutical precautions

Slaughter of broiler chickens for meat is possible in 11 days followin the last administration of the drug. Meat obtained before the mentioned term shall be utilized or fed to non-productive animals depending on the statement of veterinary physician.

In case of preparation of stock solution add the drug to water.

Water with the drug must be the only source of drinking water throughout the whole period of treatment

Dosage:

The product is administered via the drinking water.

Medicated water should be made up immediately prior to provision.

Medication of the water supply should be continuous during the treatment period and no other source of water should be available.

The product should be given over a minimum period of 6 hours per day to allow all birds to drink.

Poultry and Turkeys

-The dose rate is 5 mg/kg B.W daily (1ml per 4-3 liter drinking water for 5-3 days).

For the treatment of salmonellosis or pasteurellosis a treatment period of 5 to 10 days must be used.

Calves, goats and sheep:

Twice daily 5 ml per 150-75 kg. B.W for 5-3 days.
